after a long, dreary winter i know spring is in sight when the tulips begin to bloom. it's a sign that gives me hope and melts off my winter depression (does anyone else get this?). my friend vanessa and i were lucky to spend the day together at the wooden shoe tulip festival last weekend where the seemingly neverending rows of tulips warmed my heart.

Great photos, Debbie. Ektar, I presume? The new banner looks great too! Love the tulips.
It was so great getting to see you TWICE this weekend. I would like for this to happen more frequently ;)

Neat! I didn't even know there were tulip fields in Oregon like that. I thought I'd have to go to Holland for something that pretty.
