a hike to dry creek

summer's slowly slipping away (was it really ever here?), and i'm loving the little glimpse into fall (my favorite season) we've been having. such nice crisp, clean air and cool nights. i can't wait to curl up on the sofa, knit, and drink cup after cup of hot tea.

some pictures from a recent day trip to the coast. it was windy and refreshing, hard to believe it had been two years since my last beach trip. really need to work on that fear of driving on the curvy highway thing. (getting closer, still scary but i did it!)
